Pål is an internationally recognized solar researcher, northern lights expert, speaker, author and film producer. He has worked for six years at NASA as deputy manager of the SOHO satellite - one of the most successful satellites in space history. He has received a number of international awards and is frequently used as an expert commentator in the media. Pål currently working as subject manager at the Norwegian Space Center and teaching about auroras at UNIS in Svalbard. He is a member of the renowned Explorers Club in New York.
