Agenda is more important than ever
– The technology festival Kongsberg Agenda is more important than ever. With increased great power rivalry, the enormous political power of tech giants, and the rise of artificial intelligence, Kongsberg Agenda will be a very significant meeting place in the future, says Sigbjørn Aanes, partner at First House.
– We are proud to announce this partnership and look forward to contributing to the festival continuing to set the agenda.
The communications agency has previously been an active contributor to the conference through both debates and presentations, and several of First House's clients have been present there for several years.
– We are very impressed with the positive development Kongsberg Agenda has had in recent years in terms of both participants and content. The festival has become an important arena that brings together professionals, politicians, and the business community within the technology and defense sectors. For our clients and ourselves, this is an ideal meeting place to be visible, build relationships, and participate in the discussion, says Aanes.
First House has many years of experience with large events and is, among other things, one of the central initiators behind Arendalsuka. Now the agency sees the need for an event that focuses more on technology.

Technology and security on the agenda
– Kongsberg Agenda is perfectly positioned to play such a role. This year's main theme, 'Technology as Value – Norway's Role as a Technology Partner in a Turbulent World,' lays the foundation for good debates. For our clients, technological development is becoming increasingly important for how business is managed, says Jon Georg Dale, incoming CEO of First House.
Dale points out that security issues must be taken into account more than before.
– The geopolitical developments in the last couple of years have become a very important consideration for business and politics. The combination of technology and security makes Kongsberg Agenda a very relevant arena for us to be present at.
Wivi-Ann Bamrud at Kongsberg Agenda is very pleased that First House chooses to join the team and that they see the importance of the meeting place created over the last three years.
– Our vision is to bring people and technology together to create a better future, and we believe it is realistic by developing a meeting place where technology is discussed and experienced across industries. For us, it is crucial to shape the festival in collaboration with our partners. First House is an incredibly exciting communications agency with a broad client portfolio and a network that is important to us, and we look forward to the collaboration, says Bamrud.
