Norway's most important technology festival

Kongsberg Agenda is the technology festival that sets the stage for the national technology debate in a playful, curious and challenging way. Agenda fills the city space in Kongsberg city center with hundreds of free debates, exhibitions, conversations, lectures, stands and activities. Common to all of these is how smart and sustainable use of technology in all industries can help solve society's problems.

Events and activities will be spread across a number of stages, tents and venues. Some of these have been given their own thematic "umbrella" - their own Agenda concept - to make it even easier for the audience to find their way around.

At Kongsberg Agenda, you can help set the premises for national technology development in a societal context by experiencing and testing technology, sharing knowledge, discussing, playing and learning. The technology festival is for anyone who wants to learn, discuss, influence and solve challenges across industries, areas of expertise and political divides. Agenda aims to inspire, engage and motivate change in the borderland between people and technology.

The project organization

Kongsberg Agenda is a joint initiative of the business community in Kongsberg. Kongsberg Næringsforum (KNF) is the business community's own organization and has been assigned the role of project owner, planner and responsible implementer of Kongsberg Agenda. KNF's 300 member companies range from large industrial and technology companies to construction, real estate, trade and tourism companies.

A program committee with nationally leading representatives from various industries ensures a relevant and engaging main agenda, while a separate steering group with representatives from the business community in Kongsberg is a strategic support player. External resources from partners contribute greatly to planning and implementing the various program directions.

Kongsberg Agenda will be an open, inclusive and non-commercial technology festival where the majority of the program content is independent events from local and national actors within the Kongsberg Agenda concept.
