    Will become more visible

The agreement was signed on Friday, and both Warholm himself and his trainer Leif Olav Alnes made the trip to Kongsberg Agenda.

    - We are of course very happy to enter into this agreement with Karsten Warholm. In the interaction, Warholm will be an ambassador for the company's sustainability strategy, and will help put sustainability and innovation on the agenda for GKN Aerospace Norway AS and the aviation industry. This applies not least to GKN's further development, which focuses on 3D printing of sustainable aircraft parts, says Cathrine Kvitnes, Head of Communication GKN Aerospace Norway AS,

GKN Aerospace has been a partner under Kongsberg Agenda from the very beginning. Kvitnes says that Kongsberg Agenda is important for giving the company increased visibility.

    - We are one of the cornerstone companies here in Kongsberg, but there are probably many who still don't know much about us. WE have kept a fairly low profile for many years, but we are in the process of changing that, says Kvitnes.

External visibility is important for GKN, and Kongsberg Agenda is a great meeting place to showcase itself and to create networks across companies.

    - We clearly see an effect of being part of Kongsberg Agenda, and we are a proud partner. This year we have invited several of our own experts on the various topics on the agenda, who contribute to several events. Among other things, we had our own, Jon Ecköf, with a PhD in artificial intelligence, on the main stage on Wednesday to explain what artificial intelligence really is and how it affects us. It is also very fun to see so much life in the streets these days, and I hope and believe that Kongsberg Agenda will give Kongsberg more attention in general, and not just during these days.

    - World-class sustainability is something we work on all the time. And it's not just something we talk about - it's something we do! We have employees who continuously work to contribute to sustainable solutions for the future.

    - Karsten Warholm reflects many of the same values as us. With his commitment and dedication, and how this results in his world-class performance, he is a perfect match for our ambitions for continuous improvement and innovation, sustainability and quality - both in terms of quality in everything he does and the sustainability perspective, and I am sure that we will have a good collaboration with him, adds Kvitnes.
