    Agenda may have international significance

GKN Aerospace is one of the partners of Kongsberg Agenda. CEO Nicola Armstrong believes that the festival can have international significance.

    - Kongsberg Agenda has both local and national significance, including for us! The event brings together stakeholders from all over society, not only from the business world, but also from politics and not least the academic world, says Armstrong.

GKN Aerospace is a global company in the aerospace industry with over 15,000 employees and has production in many countries around the world. Our products within aircraft structures, engines and fuel systems are present in over 100,000 daily flights. At Kongsberg, we have over 360 employees. Armstrong believes that meeting places like Kongsberg Agenda can also lead to development in the aerospace industry.

    - By putting important topics and challenges on the agenda, Kongsberg Agenda can contribute to the development of a more sustainable industry – not only locally in Kongsberg, but also on a national and international level, says Armstrong.

    Contacts and networks

Armstrong believes that one of the strengths of Kongsberg Agenda is that many different stakeholders meet – across industries.

    - It is a platform where you can share knowledge, discuss challenges and explore opportunities for new collaborations.

She says that they hope to gain new knowledge and new perspectives, as well as establish new contacts and a larger network – by participating in this year's Agenda.

    - We look forward to participating in thought-provoking discussions, learning from experts within different industries and gaining new perspectives on the future of aviation, says Armstrong.

  • Will show off

    Will show off

GKN Aerospace is not only visible at Kongsberg Agenda to gain inspiration and make contacts, they also want to use the arena to showcase what they are working on. Among other things, they will be showcasing advanced and innovative technical solutions.

    - We will also participate in discussions and share our knowledge of AI and industrial 3D printing. Airlines have already used 3D printed parts from GKN in their jet engines for over 10 years. We look forward to demonstrating our own expertise and contributing to a more sustainable aviation, concludes Armstrong.
