Liv Dingsør, CEO of Digital Norway, has taken on the great challenge of leading the program committee for the second year in a row. Towards 2024, she will take Kongsberg Agenda a long step closer to its ambition of creating an arena that helps drive technology discussion and development forward.
Concrete and down-to-earth
– We succeed when Kongsberg Agenda is a technology festival where we don't just talk about the big picture, but become more concrete and down-to-earth so that we get real and experience-based exchange of opinions. The goal is to be able to extract effects from each event that are practically applicable for many different actors, says Dingsør. - We also want a clearer connection between dialogue, debate and the physical technology exhibition at Kongsberg Agenda - technology and opportunities gain extra power and substance when we can see and test it in reality!
– It is a great pleasure for Kongsberg Agenda that Liv Dingsør continues the good work that she and the outgoing committee started in 2023. Dingsør has now mobilized an impressive assembly of highly qualified people to help her set the direction for 2024, says program manager Anne Cecilie Lund-Andersen.
Will connect actors and create friction
– We did not finish talking last year about how technology, industry and expertise contribute to bringing us forward towards a green and digital shift globally that we in Norway can live off. That theme is also paramount this year, albeit with a different packaging, says Dingsør.
– Our desire for the main program, and the entire Kongsberg Agenda, is to connect actors with different points of view. We want even more exciting and dynamic debates, which have a little friction, she says. We all benefit from becoming more focused on real issues in society, where we can gather experts and delve into real use scenarios, says Dingsør.
Will create a script for the future use of technology
The program committee decides what the festival's overarching issue will be! This is intended to be guiding, inspiring and motivating for all organizers - and will of course permeate the festival's main program. Otherwise, the actors are free to focus with their own technology glasses on the topics they themselves believe are relevant.
- Our long-term goal is to develop an arena where we all see tasks, responsibilities and the division of roles between authorities and business more clearly, and take responsibility for building a competitive Norway - and making the world a little better, a little faster, says Dingsør.
An important premise for the festival is that it has a learning agenda and the transfer of experience, says Dingsør.
- The measures that have proven to have good effects in real life must be analyzed, repeated and further developed - as in top sports. The program committee will work on measures to extract practical tips and tricks from all the events. Imagine what a script for effective and future-oriented use of technology that would have been!
