Nearly twice as many people can experience the free concerts

    Significant upgrades

We are launching a spectacular upgrade with a new stage location, expanded dining areas and a unique chance to experience the pulse of the technology festival from Pi/Grand and Fellesbrukskrysset to Privat Bar. Now the audience and the entire city population are invited to be part of four festival days that put Kongsberg on the map as a hub for technology and innovation!

Significant upgrades will give visitors an even more memorable and engaging experience. The festival, which takes place in week 25, promises to be a highlight of Kongsberg's anniversary year.

The Parkscenen, i.e. the new main stage, will this year be located in the heart of Agendaparken, otherwise known as Magasinparken. This area will be transformed into a vibrant center for the festival's highlights, which include a number of exciting lectures, debates and, not least, great entertainment. When the sun goes down, the Parkscenen will be transformed into a lively area where the audience can enjoy free concerts, meet old friends and make new acquaintances.

A significant part of the important changes this year is to replace last year's "wall" against Tinius Olsens gate and Fellesbrukskrysset with low fences around the main area. This change ensures that those in surrounding areas such as Fellesbrukskrysset, Pi/Grand Hotell and Privat Bar can also see what is happening on stage.

  • More tents and new stages

    More tents and new stages

In addition to the new Parkscenen, we have also made significant upgrades to other stages - Politisk Agenda and Agenda Kompetanse - with large tents equipped with stages and big screens. A varied selection of food and drinks will also be served here. These arenas will, in addition to hosting highly topical debates and conversations during the day, be the place for social events in the evening.

Also new this year is that we are working to place a mobile podcast studio in Fellesbrukskrysset outside Agendaparken. - This can accommodate both editorially controlled media, businesses and organizations, says Linn K. Djønne, who will be responsible for this part of the festival. - We already know that TU Media wants to broadcast more episodes from Kongsberg, and we hope that more people will use the opportunity to create exciting podcasts from the Technology City these days.

We are convinced that these improvements will make the experience for our visitors even better than before, and at the same time highlight Kongsberg's position as a leading city in technology and innovation. We look forward to welcoming both new and returning guests to some unforgettable days filled with learning, discussion and entertainment.
