What, and who is an astronaut?
Nåva Space is developing the spacesuit of the future, which uses sensors to measure the condition of astronauts in space – and this raises a number of interesting issues such as the responsibility for injuries caused by the use of the spacesuit, and issues surrounding the baselayer with sensors – are we simply getting a digital twin of the astronaut? And who owns the input data and who owns the output data?
Look forward to an engaging conversation about future issues in commercialization and increased use of technology in space exploration. We will discuss:
- What is an astronaut from a legal and technical standpoint? Why is it important to define this?
- Who is responsible when an astronaut gets injured by using the space suit?
- Baselayer with sensors: AI/digital twins – who owns the input data and who owns the output data?
