Audience growth of 20%
Of the 18,000 who visited Kongsberg Agenda during the 4 sunny days in June, approximately 8,000 were visitors from other Norwegian municipalities. In addition, there are international visitors.
The Technology City's own population of all ages flocked to events and activities with a shared fascination for technology and knowledge.
The public life created a good setting for the technology festival at all times of the day. Children, young people, adults and the elderly were thrilled by lectures, debates, exhibitions and activities. The free concerts every evening gathered approximately 1,500 party-loving people in the area at the Parkscenen, and there was a good mix of international, national, local business and residents.

The number of hosts, events and exhibitors increased sharply
Both the number of events and hosts increased by 50%. In 2024, there were 311 entries in the program and approximately 100 actors acted as hosts. The 2024 festival also had a much greater international feel with several large foreign companies in place. The technology exhibition TeXpo increased the number of exhibitors by 50%, and almost 40 companies showcased their technological solutions.

Kongsberg people of all ages are proud of Agenda
This year's survey yielded 700 responses, 60% of which were from the city's own residents and businesses. It is clear that the technology festival has also become popular locally.
9 out of 10 are satisfied with Agenda and will participate again next year and at the same time recommend Agenda to friends and colleagues.
There is no shortage of engagement from the audience in terms of suggestions for improvements to next year's festival. Even though 9 out of 10 were satisfied with the festival, about 600 people sent in criticism, praise and suggestions for improvements on everything from better weather and shorter queues to fewer program entries and better signage 😊

Strong growth in digital channels
Kongsberg Agenda's own channels on the web, app and social media increased their visits by almost 100%. People are very interested in the concept and people talk about it and spread the good word in the right circles, both analogue and digital. This is also Agenda's marketing strategy for the time being. Despite small marketing budgets, there is good organic work to publish relevant content and at the same time get the network of partners and hosts to spread the message that Agenda is Norway's most important technology festival.
Since Agenda is a growing festival and it costs money to grow, very little is currently being spent on advertising and marketing in favor of the rig itself and the content.
