The concept scenes are owned by Kongsberg Agenda
The fact that the concept stages are Kongsberg Agenda's responsibility simply means that the festival is responsible for the stage rigging, technical setup and allocation of time for program items. So you're getting a set table! New this year is that there is an opportunity to apply for a place, a time slot, on the various concept stages.
The advantage of getting a place on a concept stage is – marketing, location, ready setup and free stage rental. You read that right, apart from the program item fee, there is no cost to rent either the stage or the technician.
All concept stages are open for applications for all days between 08:30 and 18:00. Some time slots will be reserved by Kongsberg Agenda and the program committee.
-
What are the criteria for applying?
The application is assessed according to several criteria.
- Content must match the desired concept stage
- There must be a clear connection with technology
- It must be realistically possible to implement – even if the application is rejected
- There must be a professional plan for implementation
- There must be a plan for marketing and promotion
- It must have audience appeal
Kongsberg Agenda will also consider the total audience experience. We want to give more hosts space and have a varied and exciting program content on the different stages. The Park Stage is the only concept stage that mixes themes. This is also the stage with the narrowest needle eye.
-
How do you apply?
You apply for a place on a concept stage by filling out a form that you can find here. A tip is to have the application text ready before you start filling it out.
APPLY FOR A PLACE (opens 15 Nov)
The most important thing is to give us as clear a picture as possible of the desired content in the program entry, who your target group is and what you want to achieve. If some contributors are also ready, that's great. Remember that the submitted application is the start of a dialogue between Kongsberg Agenda and the applicant, so that together we can find the best solutions for the audience and hosts.
You will be asked about: Title, introduction/intro, description of the program entry, responsible host(s), contributors, format, as well as the desired stage and time.
